Drakes fish and chip restaurant and take away

3-5 Silver St, Knaresborough HG5 8AJ, UK – 01423 864864

Brilliant food 10/10! Definitely recommend to anyone passing by. Affordable and lovely food & service. Fish and chips were fine and the southern fried chicken (in my opinion) was fantastic. Love the curry sauce. Can’t praise you enough, definitely go here if you’d like fish & chips, chicken fillet(or)nuggets or burgers etc.

Fish and chips were lovely and you get plenty. We got the meal deal where you get fish chips bread and tea and a starter or pud. We opted for a pud but were too full to manage any so they boxed it up too take away.

Recommended by a local we had to go see what the deal was. Sadly I'm not sure it lived up to the hype. Dishes were good but not as tasty s if have liked, and the place was empty... I guess that's what you get for going for a curry on a Wednesday. Be interested to see it on a Friday night. Can't fault the Stücke though... Charming and friendly throughout... Speedy too.

Just OK. Went for the Thursday buffet. Had a 30 minute wait for the starters. They did not bring us the inclusive glass of wine until we asked for it near the end of our meal and then was asked to finish the drinks in the lounge area as soon as we had finished our food so they could re use the table... Will not rush back.

The restaurant was very Nice, the staff were very helpful and it tasted amazing.

The survive was friendly and efficient, the Chicken Chow Mein was hot, tasty and fresh. The Chicken Fried Rice was moist, nicely browned and deliciously moreish. The Spare Ribs, succulent and tender. The Chicken and SweetCorn Soup could be less gooey but lovely. It is a convenient location and reasonably priced. I would definitely come again.
